the curse of the bank cards is still upon me

Whilst out in Belfast city centre with Stephen, after an appointment at my GP’s surgery, I was on my way to sort out some personal finances when disaster struck. I put the one card that survived the original bank card problem, into an ATM near CastleCourt this afternoon, and after putting in my PIN asking for balance, it was retained. So now I have to contact the provider of the account to see what went wrong. Yesterday my replacement bank card for my principal ℀ was delivered by Royal Mail. This evening I went to my own branch of the aforesaid bank, in Belfast, to check the balance on my ℀. Simple enough, one would have thought. Sadly, I am now without a bank card once more as the ATM swallowed it for unauthorised use So, once more I telephoned the card protection hotline and have been informed that they will try to get it out to me in time for my trip to England, but they suspect that it will not arrive in time. It is now early evening and I am beginning to piece together what happened in the last 24 hours. The first I knew that something funny had gone on, was that I didn’t wake up til about 2pm today. This is not normal for me. Secondly, after an appointment at the Royal Victoria Hospital, I listened to a voicemail on my mobile telephonic device. Apparently I had reported my bank cards lost – yet I knew them to be in my pocket in my wallet. What was going on?
