I’ve just been invited to a fundraiser in aid of Aware Defeat Depression in the John Hewitt bar, Donegall Street, Belfast on this Wednesday 25th May from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.. Duncan – a brother in torment

Further to my post about the rescue of my brother, Duncan, from Slieve Donard, I am asking for prayers for him. This evening the emergency doctor was out to him because his GP was sufficiently worried about him. Unfortunately, the emergency doctor said that he didn’t feel able to section Duncan tonight as he didn’t know him well enough. It’s some time since I have posted on here. But the events of last night really do need recorded. Five Hours of a Meeting I was at a meeting last night which lasted five hours – but it was reasonably productive depsite starting to cover ground that is not this year’s committee’s responsibility. St Etheldreda’s Day Today is St Etheldreda’s Day. The day that the Church remembers a holy Abbess in Ely, Cambridgeshire. It is the day I remember a friend of mine called Etheldreda. And remember that I have forgotten to send a card to her – I’ll have to do that later this afternoon.
