Daily Mail appears to tell lies…

It is rare of me to be reading the Daily Mail’s website, but the headline about the Tories putting up a candidate in the Oldham East & Saddleworth election following the ruling of the Election Court with regard to Phil Woolas. The Daily Mail seems to think that it was a ‘by-election’ that was tainted. Let’s hope that those responsible for writing headlines could actually attempt to be accurate. A successful evening was had at the first Fairer Votes Belfast event at the North Down and Strangford Alliance Associations’ Table Quiz at the CIYMS Clubhouse in East Belfast. First of all my congratulations are in order to my friend and colleague who many of you will know has been appointed Campaigns Manager for Northern Ireland in the Yes to Fairer Votes campaign. As you may have guessed, this is the job that both he and I were interviewed for on Monday.
