Earlier I posted elsewhere about the continuing bomb alert in the north of the city of Belfast. I said: The bomb alert that is causing disruption in the York Road area of the city near the Alexandra Bar is concerning. There are many young children who live in this area. Shore Road Cooperative to close

This morning standing at the bus stop on the way into Belfast city centre, I learnt that my neighbourhood Cooperative store is to close on 28 November. What is not clear is whether the Post Office that is located in it is to be relocated or is to close as well. The signs that are in the shop are big enough to be read from the other side of the road and this prompted a discussion at the bus stop.
