PPS decision on Robinson a scandal

Belfast Pride and the Northern Ireland Gay Rights Association today described as “a scandal” the decision of the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) not to recommend a Police Service of Northern Ireland investigation into homophobic comments made by the Member of Parliament for Strangford. Support the Trade Union protest

    The Northern Ireland Committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions has organised a series of silent protests across Northern Ireland for 1pm on Wednesday 11 March 2009.  The protests are for workers to show their condemnation at the brutal murders in Antrim at the weekend.  Gyronny is planning to be at the protest at Belfast City Hall, but there are also protests at Newry Town Hall, and the Guildhall in Derry.
