Needless Restrictions Remain on Gay Blood Donors

Sadly this policy is not being followed by the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety in the Northern Ireland Executive. Pressure is still needed here so that he actually follows the advice that has been given. It would be helpful if those reporting the lifting of the ban in Great Britain would refer to it as that – as this part of the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland) very much still does have a ban.Read the Article at HuffingtonPost Continue reading Needless Restrictions Remain on Gay Blood Donors

With the Coming of Christ, God will be seen by men

There is one God, who by his Word and Wisdom made and ordered all things. His Word is our Lord Jesus Christ who in these last times became a man among men, that he might unite the end with the beginning, that is, Man with God. Therefore the prophets who received from this same Word their prophetic gift, proclaimed his advent in the flesh, by which was effected the mingling and uniting of God and man according to the Father’s pleasure. A new approach to road safety Reflective clothing built into their school uniform Most school uniforms are usually made with dark colours, often black. Student Broad Left tries to interfere and gets it so wrong

After seeing and sharing a post about the NUS President closing registrations for a Black students’ event in London, I looked further at what Student Broad Left are about. I don’t know which Good Friday Agreement they were reading – but it does not call for an end to Britain’s role in Ireland. It agrees that both HM Government in … Continue reading Student Broad Left tries to interfere and gets it so wrong

a letter to the future

I’m writing this now to make sure our children have a chance of growing up in a world worth living in.

Today there’s still time to save nature.

If we act now, our children may yet be able to share their world with sparrows and polar bears, eagles and tigers. There’s still a chance that they’ll inherit a world where the engines of life – the air, seas, rivers and forests – are healthy. Where bluebell woods and rainforests won’t be lost forever.
