News from Oxford

Gyronny has heard from his source in Oxford that the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales has lost its chairman and chaplain. The  loss of Julian Chadwick and the Rev. Msgr Anthony Conlon from its ranks is to be lamented. They both contributed plenty over the last few years to the society. Further information can be found on Damian Thompson’s blog (of The Daily Telegraph).

Further news from the city of the dreaming spires is that in the Eternal City, a certain humble priest of the Archdiocese of Westminster is to be made a Monsignor. The exact rank is not known but I am sure that all who were around during his reign tenure as Catholic Chaplain to the University of Oxford will wish to congratulate him. If anyone knows his address, please be sure to tell me.
