if gays ask questions it is sexual perversion: if straights do it, it isn’t?

When will some people learn that if someone is gay, one does not instantly find everyone of one’s own gender attractive.

There is one politician who is using the security pat-downs in use in America as a rod to beat those citizens who happen to be lesbian, gay, or bisexual.

Eugene Delgaudio
Eugene Delgaudio

Eugene Delgaudio, a Republican representing Sterling on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, appears to think that if members of the Transportation Security Administration are gay and are carrying out pat-downs – which are part of their job – they derive some sort of sexual pleasure from this.

In his words…

“That means the next TSA official that gives you an enhanced pat-down could be a practicing homosexual secretly getting pleasure from your submission”.

a logical extension

Would Mr Delgaudio wish to extend this to any situation where any person is asked questions by any law enforcement agency? Or by counsel in court?

If it is possible for a ‘practising homosexual’ to derive pleasure from submission, then it is equally possible for a ‘practising heterosexual’ so to do as well.

Would Mr Delgaudio therefore allow us to extend his comments to the non-gay part of the community? I suspect not.

Many situations in life involve one person being questioned or appearing to be submissive to another. If these are to be removed in case the person or persons doing the questioning may derive sexual pleasure – I’d like to know how anyone is to be questioned about anything at all. Maybe Mr Delgaudio would like all actions of government to grind to a halt?
